We are happy to bring you another Toyota GR86 install. This particular car already had an Android head unit installed but the owner wasn't too happy with it. After doing a little bit of research and asking around, he was recommended the Teyes CC3. So he dropped by our shop and arranged for it to be replaced. Besides the Teyes CC3, he also wanted to have a front parking camera to assist with parking and prevent him hitting curbs, given the car is pretty low.


Fortunately the Teyes CC3 natively supports a  front parking camera so all you need is a compatible front camera and just plug it in, simple as that. As for the placement of the front camera, the owned had a special bracket made in order for us to be able to place the camera just below the front license plate holder. worked perfectly.


Overall, we are still convinced that the Android is the best route to go with for the head unit upgrade in the Toyota GR86. At least for us here in Malaysia.
