Toyota Camry ACV40 (XV40) Audio Upgrades

The owner of this Toyota Camry ACV40 (XV40) wanted to upgrade his in-car audio system to keep up to date with the latest technology. He wasn't looking to spend too much but wanted a decent upgrade. He didn't need fancy head unit features so it made the task realistic and achievable.

We opted for the Pioneer AVH-A215BT which has all the basic functions you would expect from a head unit with sound quality that you can rest assured from Pioneer.

As for the front speakers, we went with the Pioneer TS-A1600C which are pretty impressive mid-priced speakers that has impressed us in the past. We paired it with the Alpine S Series S-S69 coaxial for the rear as the S Series does provide nice mid-bass.

To top it off, we installed the Pioneer TS-WX130DA underseat active subwoofers that has always been a decent performer for entry level.

All in all, pretty happy with the results. Way better than the stock system fer sho!
