Toyota Corolla Altis 9th Gen Radio Kenwood DMX723WS wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto

Firstly, a big shout out to one of our customers for recommending this customer to us. You helped make this happen, thank you.
This customer popped by on a Saturday afternoon wanting to upgrade her radio with something that has Apple CarPlay. She was very specific that she wanted it to be wireless. Thankfully, we had the Kenwood DMX723WS ready. After some discussions and considerations on the customer side, she decided that this unit would be perfect for her needs. Thankfully it also falls in the range of her budget.
The DMX723WS is pretty much a perfect fit for most Toyota models that have the 200MM radio space. The Altis 9th Gen is probably one of the easiest cars to work on. Removal of the radio and panels are pretty straight forward. All you need is a plastic pry tool and a 10MM socket driver.
The original wires in this car were spliced into but thankfully the previous installer had the foresight to not cut off the original socket. This meant all we had to do was to remove the previous radio wires and just seal up the factory wires. Then we added a Toyota stereo harness adapter which allows us to make the connection and also allows it to be unplugged for maintenance if needed. We recommend this way for all installs to keep it serviceable.
Besides that, we were also sure to use foam tape on any hard surfaces to prevent from any knocking noises. We also made sure to tie up excess wires to prevent them from creating any noise or rubbing against any sharp surfaces.
For anyone with similar vehicles looking to upgrade your head unit, definitely do take this Kenwood DMX723WS into consideration. You will get that factory look and Kenwood's quality assurance, reliability and a smooth user-experience.
